The above-mentioned vacuum pumps as well as the Schmalz Blower SB-M and SB-L blower types are designed for installation by the customer (see instructions in section 5). The blowers of the Schmalz Blower SB-V blower type are installed in the Schmalz Blower Box ex works (due to the connection of the external fan required). -

Schmalz Blower Box. 2. Position the base plate at the intended installation location. Important: If the Schmalz Blower Box is used, the vacuum pump may only be installed in a horizontal position. Schmalz Blower Box and pump operating and maintenance instructions. 6.2 Description of Operation The Schmalz Blower Box allows the noise emissions caused by the vacuum generator to be reduced to a minimum. The cover must be properly closed during the operation of the vacuum generator for this. -

MAINTENANCE 7 Maintenance The vacuum generator must be disconnected from the circuit prior to working on the Schmalz Blower Box. As the vacuum generator emits heat, a cooling time of 60 minutes must be observed.
