1-18. Memory Card
The memory card can be used to save and read the setup menu, and update internal software from the
maintenance mode.
Fixtures
. Memory card box, CDS-20 assembly :
. CN-1936 board :
. Memory card (2MB or 4MB)
MB98A81183 (for 2MB) :
MB98A81273 (for 4MB) :

Other than the above, flash memory cards available separately can be used. (conforming to 5 V single
power supply JEIDA/PCMCIA, Fujitsu or AMD type, etc.)
Connecting the Memory Card Box
1. Turn the power off.

Always turn off the power supply of the unit when connecting/disconnecting the memory card box.
If the power is left ON, the memory card box and or memory card may damage.
2. Remove the upper frame. (Refer to Section 1-6-3.)
3. Connect the CN-1936 board to the connector (CN1) on the SY-259A board.
4. Connect the Memory card box (CDS-20 assembly) to the CN-1936 board.

5. Turn the power on.
