Change the dust filter bag at the latest when the dust
bag change indicator (Fig. 1/8) lights up "red" or when the
suction power drops.
ATTENTION:
Before you change the dust filter bag, switch off the
appliance and observe the instructions under ZChapter
3.2, "Switching off and retracting the power cable". This
is how you will prevent dust from destroying the appli-
ance.
1. Open the dust chamber cover by unlocking it and then
flipping it up (Fig. 17).
2. Open the dust chamber cover until it noticeably clicks
into place and remains open without having to be held.
NOTE:
Proceed carefully when removing the dust filter bag so
that no dust gets out of the dust filter bag.
1
3. Pull the dust bag holder together with the dust filter bag
(Fig. 18/1) up and out (Fig. 18).
4. Remove any dust residues found in the dust chamber.
5. Pull the dust filter bag (Fig. 19/1) out of the dust bag
holder (Fig. 19/2).
1
NOTE:
You can dispose of the dust filter bag with the normal
domestic waste as long as it does not contain any dirt not
permitted for domestic waste.
6. Push the new dust filter bag (Fig. 20/1) into the dust bag
holder (Fig. 20/2) as shown, so that it rests against the
bottom mounting angles (Fig. 20/3) of the dust bag
holder.
1
7. Then reinsert the dust bag holder (Fig. 21/1) into the
dust chamber. Push the guide of the dust bag holder
(Fig. 21/2) straight into the rail provided for this purpose
to do so, until the interlock for the dust compartment
cover (Fig. 21/3) is folded back.
8. Close the dust chamber cover. It clicks audibly into
place.
NOTE:
The dust chamber cover can only be closed if a dust filter
1
bag has been inserted.
