Bring or send defective appliances to a specialist dealer
or to Royal Appliance Customer Services for repair. Ad-
dress ZPage 116, "International Service".

This appliance is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with impaired physical, sensorial or
mental abilities and/or insufficient experience or knowl-
edge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or have been instructed in the proper use of
the appliance by this person. Store it so it is inaccessible.

Children should be supervised in order to make sure
that they don't play with the appliance.
„
Packaging material must not be used to play with. There
is a danger of suffocation.
The appliance may only be operated in households. It is not
suitable for industrial or commercial use.
Only use the cylinder vacuum cleaner for cleaning normally
dirty floors and carpets. Any other use is considered non-
intended use and is prohibited.
The following is prohibited in particular:
„
Do not vacuum:
- parts of persons, animals, plants, especially hair, fin-
gers and other parts of the body as well as pieces of
clothing worn on the body. They could be sucked in
and cause injuries.
- water and other fluids, especially damp carpet clean-
ing agents. Internal dampness can lead to a short-cir-
cuit.
- toner dust (for laser printers, copy machines, etc.).
There is a risk of fire and explosion.
- hot ash, burning cigarettes or matches. These can
cause fire.
- pointed objects such as glass fragments, nails, etc.
Otherwise, the appliance might be damaged.
- rubble, plaster, cement, fine drilling-dust, makeup,
etc. These might damage the appliance.

Do not use near explosive or easily flammable sub-
stances. There is a risk of fire or explosion.

Do not use in the open-air. There is a risk of the appli-
ance being destroyed by rain and dirt.
„
Do not push objects into the openings of the appliance.
It could overheat.
