4.1 Changing the dust
filter bag

Change the dust filter bag at the latest when the dust
filter bag change indicator (Fig. 1/10) lights up "red" or
when the suction power drops.
ATTENTION:
Before you change the dust filter bag, switch off the
appliance and observe the instructions under
3.2, "Switching off and retracting the power cable". This
is how you will prevent dust from destroying the
appliance.

1. Open the dust chamber cover by unlocking it and then
flipping it up (Fig. 18).
2. Open the dust chamber cover until it noticeably clicks
into place and remains open without having to be held.
NOTE:
Proceed carefully when removing the dust filter bag so
that no dust gets out of the dust filter bag.
3. Pull the dust filter bag holder up and out together with

the dust filter bag (Fig. 19).

4. Remove any dust residues found in the dust chamber.
5. Press the locking clip (Fig. 20/1) back to remove the
dust filter bag.
NOTE:
You can dispose of the dust filter bag with the normal
domestic waste as long as it does not contain any dirt not
permitted for domestic waste.

6. You can close the dust filter bag using the corner
(Fig. 21/1/A,B) so that no dust escapes from it during
transport.
7. Press the locking clip (Fig. 22/1) back and insert the
new dust filter bag into the dust bag holder (Fig. 22).
8. Push the dust bag holder back into the rail provided for
this purpose.

9. Close the dust chamber cover. It clicks audibly into

place.
NOTE:
The dust chamber cover can only be closed if a dust filter
bag has been inserted.
