Page 6 1.2 Opstilling af ovnen Det anbefales at være to mand til dette arbejde, da ovnen er tung at håndtere ene. MORSØ 2B Standard stråleovn vejer 61 kg. MORSØ 2B Standard konvektionsovn vejer 76 kg. Man skal være opmærksom på nationale og lokale bestemmelser vedrørende opstilling af brændeovne.
Page 7 2B Standard konvektionsovn Af hensyn til varmecirkulation, rengøring og evt. indvendig rensning af ovn, anbefales afstand til murværk at være 10-15 cm. Page 8 Der stilles ingen krav til nogen bestemt skorstenshøjde, men den skal være så høj, at trækforhol- dene er i orden og røgen ikke generer. Som hovedregel er trækforholdene tilfredsstillende, når skorstenen er 4 meter over ovnen og er ført mindst 80 cm over tagrygningen. Placeres skorste- nen ved husets sider bør toppen af skorstenen aldrig være lavere end husets tagryg eller tagets højeste punkt.
Page 9 1.8 Trækforhold Hvis der kommer røg ud af ovnen, når fyrdøren åbnes, skyldes det dårligt skortstenstræk. Der kræves, for denne ovntype, et skorstenstræk på mindst 12 PA for at afgive tilfredsstil- lende forbrænding og forhindre røgudslip. Der vil dog være risiko for røgudslip, hvis ovndø- ren åbnes under meget kraftig fyring.

2.0 Fyringsteknik/Brugen af Deres ovn Ovnens varmeafgivelse reguleres med ventilen monteret på døren. Herudover er der en konstant forvarmet lufttilførsel, der tilføres forbrændingen lige over bålet. Page 11 2.1 Optænding og fyringsintervaller Under optænding er der behov for en stor luftmængde. Startes der op med en helt kold ovn, kan man med fordel lade døren stå på klem de første minutter og åbne lufttilførselen på maks. For at opbygge et isolerende askelag i bunden af ovnen, bør De ved første optænding af- brænde ca.
Page 12 5. Normal påfyring bør ske, mens der endnu er gløder til- bage. Fordel gløderne i bunden, dog flest foran i ovnen. 6. Der lægges 2-3 stykker brænde à ca. 1 kg og ca. 40 cm lange ind over gløderne i ét lag med en afstand på ca. 1 cm mellem træstykkerne.
Page 13 Normalt skal ovndøren altid åbnes roligt de første 2-3 centimeter, og man skal vente til tryk- ket er udlignet inden døren åbnes helt. På denne måde undgås eventuelle røggener specielt i forbindelse med dårlige trækforhold. Åbn aldrig ovndøren under voldsom fyring. Når træet er brændt ud, er det omdannet til glødende trækul.

3.0 Regelmæssig vedligeholdelse af ovnen 3.1. Udvendig vedligeholdelse Ovnens overflade er malet med en varmebestandig senotherm maling. Den holder sig pæ- nest, hvis den blot støvsuges med et blødt mundstykke eller aftørres med en tør fnugfri klud. Den malede overflade kan med tiden, ved for kraftig fyring, få et gråligt skær; men ovnen kan let opfriskes med en Morsø...

1.0 Installing your Morsø stove 1.1 Unpacking the stove 2B Standard: After removing the outer packaging, flatten it and lay onto the floor close to the stove; this can then act as protective work surface during the assembly process. Next, remove the legs and bolts from inside the stove.

The stove is heavy and therefore it is strongly recommended that when lifting, it is under- taken by two people. Morsø 2B Standard radiant weighs 61 kg. Morsø 2B Standard convection weighs 76 kg. 2B Standard convection In situations where the stove is to be fitted into a brick or non-combustible recess, we recom- mend that the stove is installed with at least 10 - 15 cm clearance to the wall, this will allow heat to circulate around the stove;...
Page 24: Connecting To A Brick Chimney
An over-sized chimney is generally hard to keep warm and results in poor draft. In cases where there is an oversized masonry chimney, it is recommended that the chimney be lined using an appropriate chimney lining system with the correct internal diameter. With respect to the chimney termination, all chimneys should terminate in accordance with National and Local Building Regulations.

1.8 Draft conditions If smoke spillage occurs when the fire door is opened, it is probably due to poor chimney draft. This type of stove requires at least 12 pa of chimney draft to achieve satisfactory com- bustion and smoke spillage prevention. However, in cases where the stove door is opened too vigorously you could expect that slight smoke spillage may occur.

2.0 Firing/using the stove The heat output of your stove is regulated by means of the top draft vent. The other air sup- ply is a constant preheated air supply supplied above the fire. The tertiary air supply cannot be controlled. The stove’s rated heat output is 5 kW.
Page 27: Lighting Instructions And Fuelling Intervals
2.1 Lighting and refuelling intervals Kindling (dry sticks) requires a large volume of air for quick combustion. When lighting the stove from cold it will help to keep the main door ajar (2-3 cm) for the first few minutes. The secondary air supply should be fully open during lighting.
Page 28 5. Refuelling of your stove should be done while there are still glowing embers in the bed. Spread the embers across the bottom, but concentrated mostly towards the front of the stove. 6. Place three pieces of fuel weighing roughly 1 kg and meas- uring about 36-38 cm in length across the embers in one lay- er, with spacing of roughly 1 cm between the pieces of wood.
Page 29 The stove door should normally be opened gently the first 2 - 3 centimetres, then you should wait until the pressure has equalised before opening the door all the way. This technique will prevent smoke from getting out, particularly when there is a poor draught. The stove door should never be opened when the stove is being fired vigorously.

3.0 Routine stove maintenance 3.1 External maintenance The surface of the stove is painted with heat-resistant Senotherm paint. If the stove is used too vigorously, the painted surface may take-on a greyish tinge.
