The Voice Symbol on the Home Page

Clicking on the Voice symbol brings up a screen that lets you make and receive voice calls if
your modem has a SIM and associated service that permit voice calls, and if your computer
has hardware that supports voice calls. One hardware option is a telephone headset.
Another hardware option is to use a microphone and speaker. (Make sure the speaker is
turned on.) Either way, you have a way to speak to someone and to hear what that person
has to say.
Some services let you use your mobile phone's voice/data SIM in the modem. When you do
that, your phone can't be used to make and receive calls. However, you can make and
receive calls using the Voice function of the modem and the associated hardware. That way
you can stay in touch with people by voice even when you're using the modem to link to the
Internet, as long as your service and SIM support this.

You can see that you can use this screen for many voice-related functions. Experiment!
