2. Installation Instructions

OVERVIEW
Now you are ready to begin the installation process. The eight steps to properly install the AIRaider
System are listed below. Read all components of each step prior to beginning the actual installation.
1. System Location
2. Readying the System for Installation

5. Vent Line Installation
6. Remote Air Intake Installation
7. System Start-up
8. System Check
9. Install Overflow Protection and Alarm Prior to Use.
It is recommended that a Flood Stop (P/N 28276, sold separately) be installed prior to use of
this system to provide point of leak detection, whereby a motorized ball valve will
automatically shut off the system and prevent potential overflows should debris clog
a shut-off valve. A basement water alarm also should be installed to warn residents of
water tank overflows.
