SECTION 12: ABNORMAL
OPERATION

12.1 REVERSIONARY MODE

Reversionary Mode is a mode of operation in which all
important flight information is presented on at least one of
the remaining displays. Flight parameters are presented
in the same format as in normal mode.
Reversionary display mode is manually activated by:
1) PFD1 – By pressing the DISPLAY BACKUP
button on the left audio panel.
2) MFD – By pressing the DISPLAY BACKUP
button on the left or the right audio panel.

3) PFD2 – By pressing the DISPLAY BACKUP
button on the right audio panel.

12.2 ABNORMAL COM OPERATION

When a COM tuning failure is detected by the system,
the emergency frequency (121.500 MHz) is automatically
loaded into the active frequency field of the COM radio
for which the tuning failure was detected. In the event of
a dual display failure, the emergency frequency (121.500
MHz) automatically becomes the active frequency to the
pilot through the pilot headset.
