SECTION 8
AUTOTEST and AUTOTSUMMARY
8-1
Introduction
To facilitate identification of whether a center artifact is due to the HiLight Detector, analysis procedures have
been developed for you, called AutoTest and AutoSummary. The AutoTest function is described in Chapter 4,
Section 13-8. AutoSummary interprets the AutoTest log, by summarizing key log information, and computing
whether the images fail the test. This information can help you differentiate a slope artifact caused by the
detector from a different system problem. Diagnosis of other system problems requires you to use your standard
troubleshooting procedures.

AutoSummary
AutoTest creates a log file on the OC in QDR: SLOPETST.LG. The AutoSummary feature filters and organizes
the data in this file. Make sure that you have run the AutoTest procedure correctly. Missing scans, incorrect
techniques, extra exams, etc. will cause an incomplete result.
AUTO SUMMARY is on the General Diagnostic Tape. You must load this tape prior to executing AUTOSUM.
Then enter DIR CTDS and type AUTOSUM.
