Possible Cause(s)
● Improper set up
● Dirty gun
● Broken Control Cable
● Failed Control Board
● Failed Gun Coil
● Stud Lifted off the work
prior to current flow. (You
may see a small flash).
● Poor Ground Path
● Failure in the main weld
rectifier. Shorted weld

Corrective Action
● Repair Fan
● Improve air flow
● Reduce ambient temperature

● Check ground path & make sure
there is a good electrical connection

short. Send the unit in for repair.
● Verify proper fusing at the electrical
box

● Repair/Replace control cable
● Replace main circuit board / send
unit in for repair
● Put a stud in the gun. Verify set up.
● Verify weld and ground cable
connections
● Replace main circuit board / send
unit in for repair
● Slow down the rate of welding once
the unit resets
● Put on the supplied feet if not in
place
● Move any obstructions that may be
interfering with air flow
