IDE HDD Auto Detection
The Enhanced IDE features was included in all Award BIOS. Below is a brief
description of this features.

1. Setup Changes

BIOS setup will display all possible modes that is supported by the
HDD including NORMAL, LBA and LARGE.
♦
If HDD does not support LBA modes, no "LBA" option will be shown.
♦
If number of physical cylinders is less than or equal to 1024,"LARGE"
option may not be shown.
