Step 29
Position the pole-unit so that its base is just
above the cross base. If necessary, rotate the
pole-unit so that its electrical-junction box is
positioned to the side of the cross base, where
the conduit will be attached. See Figure 31.
Step 30
Remove the shipping brace from the pole-unit
base. See Figure 32.

CAUTION
DO NOT rest the pole-unit on its base after
the shipping brace has been removed .
Damage to the operating shaft can
occur.
