5. Service, Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1.

General information

WARNING!
In normal operation, the unit reaches temperatures of up to
60 °C There is a danger of burns.
Always allow the unit to cool down before performing ser-
vice, maintenance and cleaning.
ATTENTION!
When performing service, maintenance and cleaning, it
must be ensured that the light outlet aperture does not be-
come soiled by fingerprints or other contaminants.
Soiling reduces the UV yield of the LED Powerline ACIC.
Service, repair and cleaning work may only be performed by authorised
personnel.
 In general, work should be performed with a clean lint-free cloth or
gloves.
 Only touch the LED Powerline ACIC by its metal housing.
 If required, clean the light outlet of the LED Powerline ACIC when it is
cold, using a clean lint-free cloth and alcohol or acetone.

5.2. Maintenance

The following service work must be carried out on the unit:
Daily:
 Inspect the LED Powerline ACIC for damage and soiling at the light
outlet and the air inlets and outlets
 If necessary, clean the quartz glass plate of the light outlet.
 In case of heavy contamination or damage, the quartz glass
plate should be replaced.
5.3.

Cleaning

The quartz glass plate on the light outlet aperture of the LED Powerline
ACIC can become dirty during operation in dusty environments or as a re-
sult of adhesive vapours. This diminishes the UV intensity.
 Clean the light outlet aperture regularly with a clean, lint-free cloth
and alcohol or acetone.
 The air inlet and outlets of the LED Powerline ACIC may become dirty
during operation in dusty environments. This influences the cooling
efficiency.
ATTENTION!
When cleaning, do not use any aggressive or abrasive
cleaning
