3-1. DESCRIPTION OF JTC-C200
The JTC-C200 main components are as follows.
• CPU (IC1)
: Control processor
• FLASH ROM (IC16) : Writing control programs
• SRAM (IC15)
: Work area for CPU
• LCD
: Operating status display panel
• QUAD UART (IC8) : Serial communication I/O
• EEPROM (IC18)
: Storing brightness information
by presetting
Also, the following areas have been mapped in the CPU
(IC1).
• ROM (FLASH)
• SRAM
• LCD
• UART x 4
• EEPROM
JTC-C200 provides four communication ports;
[CONTROL 1] and [CONTROL 2] are RS422 (D-sub 15
pin) terminals used for communication with JTC-P200 and
other peripheral equipment, and [COM 1] and [COM 2]
are RS232C (D-sub 9 pin) terminals used for
communication with a computer and modem.

As a system composition where the JTC-C200 and JTC-
P200 are connected ,when both powers are turned on, a
communication between JTC-C200 and JTC-P200 starts
automatically, and the LCD panel display changes from
initial screen to normal screen.
Under this condition, normal operation is possible.
The CPU (IC1) scans the keyboard at certain interval to
judge the status of a key pressed. After judging the pressed
key, it transmits the information to the JTC-P200 through
communication protocol in order to allow operation that
corresponds to that key. Also, it displays the information
according to that status on the LCD panel, and turns on or
off the key switch LED as necessary.
[COM 1] and [COM 2] terminals can send the operation
information to the computer and modem through the
communication protocol in the same manner.
Further, this set has a relay circuit assigned to the
[EXTERNAL CONTROL] terminal, and it can turn on/off
the circuits such as a distribution board connected to this
terminal.
