NFC CONNECTION CHECKING METHOD
When repairing or replacing the following parts, be sure to check
the NFC connection.
Relevant part:
MB-1613 board replacing
WLAN/BT combo card replacing
DISPLAY board repairing
NFC-ICON board repairing
BTW board repairing
NFC module (RC-S730) replacing
Necessary equipment:
NFC-compatible
Bluetooth
(OS: Android 2.3.3 or later, excluding Android 3.x)
Note: If using the NFC-compatible Bluetooth device with Android OS
2.3.3 or later, Android OS 4.0 or earlier, download and install the
"NFC Easy Connect" application to device.
Speaker
Procedure:
1. Turn on the NFC function of the Bluetooth device.
2. When OS of the Bluetooth device is Android OS 2.3.3 or later,
Android OS 4.0 or earlier, start the "NFC Easy Connect" ap-
plication.
3. Press the [
] button to turn the power on.

4. Touch the N mark on this unit with the Bluetooth device.
5. When Bluetooth connection is completed, connecting device
name is displayed, "BT" lights up the on the fl uorescent indi-
cator tube.

6. Connect the speaker to this unit, start audio playback with the
music application on the connecting Bluetooth device.
Adjust the volume of the Bluetooth device fi rst. If the volume
level is still too low, adjust the volume level of this unit.
Releasing method:
Touch the N mark on this unit with the Bluetooth device.
Deleting method of pairing information:
Execute the "All Clear Initialize" on page 32.

NOTICE OF MAC ADDRESS CHANGE TO CUSTOM-
ERS
When the MB-1613 board or WLAN/BT combo card is replaced,
the MAC address has been changed.
Print the following explanations, and pass it to the customer with
the repaired unit when returning the customer repaired unit.
Note of the MAC address change:
The MAC address of this unit was changed along with this repair.
Please set it again if you are using the MAC address fi ltering function
of access point device of connection destination.
MAC address can be confi rmed from the "System Information" screen
of this unit. Please refer to the "Checking the software version and
MAC address of the receiver (System Information)" of Help Guide for
details.
USER REGISTRATION DELETION METHOD OF SEN
SERVICE
By checking device ID, user registration of the SEN service of this
unit can be force reset.
(Device ID is "the hexadecimal numbers of 12 digits")
When this unit needs force reset, check device ID and consult with
the service headquarters.
Necessary equipment:
TV monitor
Procedure:
1. Connect this unit with TV monitor.
2. Press the [
] button to turn the power on.

3. Press the [HOME] button on the remote commander, display
the home screen.
4. Press the [B]/[b] buttons on the remote commander to select
the "Setup", and press the [ ] button on the remote command-
er.
5. Press the [V]/[v] buttons on the remote commander to select
the "System Settings", and press the [ ] button on the remote
commander.
6. Press the [V]/[v] buttons on the remote commander to select
the "System Information", and press the [ ] button on the re-
mote commander.
7. Device ID is displayed on the TV monitor.

NOTE OF REPLACING THE MB-1613 BOARD FOR
REPAIRING
When the MB-1613 board is defective, replace the complete
mounted board.
The mounted parts cannot be replaced with single for repairing.
Block diagram and printed wiring board that have been described
in this service manual are for reference.
After replacing the MB-1613 board refer to "NOTE OF REPLAC-
ING THE MB-1613 BOARD OR WLAN/BT COMBO CARD"
on page 7.
NOTE OF REPLACING THE ELECTRICAL PARTS ON
EACH BOARD FOR REPAIRING
Among mounted electrical parts on each board, only parts that are
described in the electrical parts list can be replaced for repairing.
The parts that are not described in the electrical parts list cannot be
replaced with single for repairing.
