1-1-8. Connection of SIU-RM101

Multiple SIU-RM101 can be connected.
The connection method is as follows.
(1) Combine the attachment screws and the holes.

1-1-9. Rack Mounting

1. SIU-100/100T
SIU-100/100T can be mounted in a standard 19 inch rack.
Be sure to use the optional rack mount rail RMM-30.
Refer to the Operation Manual supplied with the rack
mount rail (RMM-30) about procedures of the installation.
Use the four screws and four ornamental washers supplied
with the SIU-100/100T for fixing the rack mount bracket
when rack mounting the SIU-100/100T.

Cautions
(1) If the SIU-100/100T or a peripheral equipment is
mounted in a 19 inch standard rack, keep following
sufficient space around the SIU-100/100T to prevent a
temperature bring-up in the rack.
. The right and left side of the unit each 4 cm or more
. The rear of the unit 10 cm or more
Make sure that all the units in the rack can be operated
within the temperature of 35 dC or less.
(2) Be sure to use the recommended rail when rack
mounting. The unit cannot be installed completely to a
rack by rack angles alone.
(3) It is recommended to fix the rack to the floor with
bolts. When the unit is pulled out from the rack, this
will prevent its fall.
