4. Operation Procedure
<Operations on the SIU-100/100T with the old CPU-353>
(a) Execute SYSTEM BACKUP.
(b) Make preparations, such as setting an IP address, as
required.
(c) Download the data from the SIU-100/100T to a PC
and save as a file.
<Board Replacement>

When removing/installing the CPU-353 board, be sure to
tern off the power of the SIU-100/100T.
(d) Remove the old CPU-353 board from the SIU-100/
100T. (Ensure the SIU-100/100T power is first
switched OFF.)
(e) Start the battery backup of SRAM.
(f) Install the new CPU-353 board to the SIU-100/100T.
(Ensure the SIU-100/100T power is first switched
OFF.)

(g) Make preparations, such as setting an IP address, as
required.
(h) Upload the data file from the PC to the SIU-100/100T.
(i) Store the uploaded data onto Flash Memory.
(j) Execute SYSTEM RESTORE.
(k) Store the serial number.

5. Details of Each Operation
(a) Execute SYSTEM BACKUP on the SIU100/100T
with the old CPU-353 board
Start the SIU-100/100T normally, and from the SIU-
100/100T SETUP menu, execute SYSTEM BACKUP.
This will copy the contents of SRAM into Flash
Memory.
(1) Press SETUP to display the SETUP menu. Press
→ (or ←) to display the SYSTEM BACKUP sub-
menu.
(2) Press ENTER. The confirmation mark "?" is
displayed.
(3) Press ENTER again. The backup is finished when
"Completed" is displayed.
(b) Make preparations, such as setting an IP address,
as required
Change the IP address of the SIU-100/100T to down-
load to or upload from PC. If the user has already set
up a suitable IP address on the PC, the following three
steps are not necessary. The IP address/gateway/subnet
mask should be written down on paper for later use.
(1) Press SETUP on the front panel.
(2) Press → to display the IP sub menu.
(3) While pressing ↓, display each of the following
three items to change the value. (Or, write down
the values for later reference.)
IP ADDRESS / GATEWAY / SUBNET MASK

. MAC ADDRESS is a unique value set on each board by
the factory setting and cannot be changed. It is also set
for the board for replacement uniquely.
. The IP address is backed up to Flash Memory by
SYSTEM BACKUP in the previous step, so any IP
address changes in this current step are only temporary
and ineffective.
. When an IP address is changed, restart the SIU-100/
100T to make it effective.
