To avoid shock hazards and/or damage to the mounted
circuit boards, be sure to turn off the power switch, and
then turn off the breaker at the outside of DNE-1000 or
unplug the power cord before replacing the main parts.

3-1-1. Replacement of Power Unit

Allow for more than five minutes interval after turning the
power off, remove the power unit.
To avoid shock hazards, never remove the power unit just
after turning the power off.
1. Open the front panel.
(Refer to "1. Front Panel" in the section 2-1-1.)
2. Remove the four screws securing the power unit.
3. Hold the handles and pull out the power unit from the
unit.

4. Install a new power unit in the reverse order of the
steps 1 through 3.
5. Confirm the secondary power supply voltage.
(Refer to the section 1-11.)

Replacement of Main Parts

3-1-2. Replacement of Fan on the Rear Panel

If the fan stops under the normal conditions, the control
panel indicates the alarm on the display panel. If indicat-
ed, replace the fan.
And if the fan is used over a prolonged period, the rotation
speed getting low by wearing. If the unit is continuously
used, periodically replace it about every two years.

contact to your Sony's sales/service office.
