Adjusting The Vise; Removing Or Installing The Wheels - Power Fist CUT-OFF SAW Assembly And Operation Instructions Manual

1. Loosen bolts with the wrench provided. DO NOT REMOVE.
2. Slide adjustable pivoting fence forward or backward to desired
location, and securely tighten bolts with the wrench provided.
3. Align desired angle on adjustable pivoting scale with index
pointer in base, and securely tighten bolts with the wrench
provided.
4. To lock work, push screw shaft toward work, lower quick release
lever and turn crank clockwise to tighten.
5. To release work, turn crank to loosen, lift quick release lever up,
and pull screw shaft away from work.
NOTE: To obtain maximum cutting depth, position adjustable pivoting fence so material being cut is
approximately centered under wheel, when wheel is lowered all the way down.

REMOVING OR INSTALLING THE WHEELS

1. Raise wheel guard as shown in Fig. B, push in spindle
lock (Fig. A), and loosen the hex head bolt in the centre
of abrasive wheel by rotating counter-clockwise with
the wrench provided.
2. Remove the hex head bolt, spring washer, arbor
washer, outside flange and abrasive wheel (Fig. B).
3. Carefully install the new abrasive wheel onto the
spindle shaft and replace outside flange, arbor washer,
spring washer and hex head bolt.
4. Press in spindle lock and tighten hex bolt with the
wrench provided.
ATTENTION: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
WARNING: Whenever replacing a wheel, always adjust the
depth stop bolt to prevent the wheel from cutting into the
surface the tool is resting on. Failure to make the adjustment
may result in serious personal injury.
