Signalling the remaining battery capacity and performing
thermal disinfection
Turn mixer lever to the hot water end stop.
Thermal disinfection is started and the remaining battery
capacity is signalled by holding the finger against the lower area
of the sensor system (indicator lamp lights up continuously, then
flashes slowly, then flashes quickly). Remove the finger when
the quick flashing signals start. The remaining battery capacity
is signalled as follows by the number of flashing signals:
4 = Remaining capacity > 60%
3 = Remaining capacity > 40%
2 = Remaining capacity > 20%
1 = Remaining capacity < 20%
Thermal disinfection starts once the remaining capacity has
been signalled.
The detection zone of the sensor system must be
kept clear while the remaining battery capacity is
being signalled.
If an object is detected during thermal disinfection (hot water
flow), the water stops flowing immediately and the fitting is
closed (indicator lamp starts to flash).
Closure of the fitting ends automatically after 3 minutes or can
be prematurely terminated (see Terminating cleaning mode).

Fault / Cause / Remedy

Fault
Water not flowing
Water flowing
continuously
Undesired water
flow
Flow rate too low
Cause
• Water supply interrupted
• Filter in solenoid valve blocked
• Solenoid valve defective
• Plug-in connector of solenoid valve without
contact
• No voltage
- Battery discharged
- Plug-in connector without contact
• Hands not in detection zone
• Cleaning mode activated
• Solenoid valve defective
• Thermal disinfection activated
• Automatic flushing activated
• Mousseur dirty
• Filter in solenoid valve dirty
• Filters in connection hose dirty
• Shut-off valves, service valves not fully open
• Water supply restricted
Shut off hot and cold water supply.
Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary.
I. Battery, see page 4, Fig. [13] and [14].
Batteries which are almost discharged are displayed by
a flashing indicator lamp in the sensor system.
II. Mixer spindle, see page 4, Fig. [15] - [18].
III. Solenoid valve, see page 5, Fig. [19] - [25].
Assemble in reverse order.
Observe correct installation position of individual
components, see details, Fig [25].
