Backing up to/restoring from
microSD card
If you insert a microSD card into a commercially-
sold microSD card reader and connect it to the
terminal, you can use docomo backup (save to
and restore from a microSD card).
• Docomo cannot guarantee that all microSD
card readers will work with the terminal.
• Refer to the instruction manual that is bundled
with the microSD card reader before using it
with the terminal.
• Do not remove the micro SD card from the
terminal while backing up or restoring data. Data
may be damaged.
• When item names in phonebook entry of another
terminal (phone number etc.) is different from
the terminal, the item names may be changed
or deleted. And registered characters may be
removed on the copying destination because
available characters vary by terminal.
• Phonebook data available to back up is phonebook
saved in docomo account and the terminal.
• When backing up phonebook entries to
microSD card, data without a name registered
cannot be copied.
• Backup may not be performed if the microSD
card does not have enough memory. In this
case, delete unnecessary files to make
available memory.
• Backup or restoration may not be performed if
the battery level is low. In that case, charge the
terminal then try to back up or restore again.
