Registering fingerprints
From the Home screen, tap
a
"Settings" → "Lock screen &
security" → "Fingerprints"
• If you have registered fingerprint
authentication, the screen of entering
unlock screen method is appeared. When
the unlock screen method is entered,
fingerprint authentication setting screen
is appeared.

• After that, follow the on-screen
instructions. If you have registered, the
notification screen of adding fingerprint is
appeared and tap "Add more" to register
another fingerprint.
• If "Lock screen" screen is displayed,
set unlock screen method
("Pattern"/"PIN"/"Password"). The method
is used for when you can't use fingerprint
authentication.
• If the screen of entering the unlock
screen method, enter the method you
set, follow the instruction on the screen.
Note
• Tap of registered fingerprints set on
the fingerprint setting screen to delete
the fingerprint.
• Tap the fingerprint name registered on
the fingerprint setting screen to change
the name of fingerprint.
Authenticating fingerprints
Place your finger over the fingerprint
a
sensor
• Place your registered finger over the
fingerprint sensor.
• If you swipe (flick) the screen up and
down, left to right on the lock screen and
unlock the screen with the set unlock
screen method.
• If authentication is failed, release your
finger once and place it on the fingerprint
sensor again.
