<On-Screen Unlock>
• If you entered an incorrect Pattern, PIN,
or Password for five times, a message is
displayed to remind you to re-input the
pattern after 30 seconds.
• If you forget unlocking Pattern/PIN/Password
number/password, contact a docomo Shop.
<Lock screen notification>
• When the screen lock is set to
"Pattern"/"PIN"/"Password", a screen
appears so that you can select the
notification displayed on the lock screen.
When "Hide sensitive notification
content"/"Hide all notifications" is
selected, note that the notification icons,
caller's name, phone number, the number
of missed calls/voicemails may not be
displayed on the lock screen anymore.
<Terminal lock>
• Set whether entering the screen unlock
method you specified is required every
time the terminal is turned on
• The terminal will be initialized if you fail to
enter the screen unlock method specified
number of times. Be careful not to forget
the screen unlock method you specified.

Setting screen lock method
Set the screen lock method.
From the Home screen, tap
a
"Settings" → "Lock screen &
security" → "Select screen lock"
None Disable the security of
unlocking screen.
Swipe Swipe to unlock screen.
Pattern Draw pattern to unlock
screen. You can set your
favorite pattern.
PIN Enter a PIN to unlock
screen. Follow the on-
screen instructions to
enter a 4 to 16-digit
number.
Password Enter a PIN to unlock
screen. Follow the on-
screen instructions to enter
a 4 to 16-digit password
including alphabets.
