During CD playback, any desired track can be selected and recorded with "Single-track recording".
This facility is called the O.T.E. (One Touch Edit) function.

Please note that the O.T.E. recording is not possible with an LD player.
Preparation
1 Make "Playback (recording) preparation"
2 (Load a disc in the CD player.)
3 Adjust the recording level.

CD single-track recording (O.T.E.) (Deck B only)

Play the CD track to be recorded.

Press the O.T.E. key.

O.T.E.
After the track has been recorded, the cassette deck stops after leaving
a non-recorded blank of 4 seconds. The CD player enters pause mode.
To record another track ... Repeat steps 1 and 2.
Pressing the 7 key of the CD player stops the CD player and the
cassette deck.
Pressing the 7 key of the cassette deck also stops the cassette deck
and CD player.
