Malfunctions or damage to the assistance system lead to a loss of func-
tionality or failure of the assistance system. Dangerous situations and
serious injuries could result.
In the event of damage, malfunctions or uncertainty, take the VETTER
SmartFork ® out of operation immediately. Contact customer service

Check that all exposed components are seated securely.
Check all plug connections of the electronic components.
Check the cables for damage, cracks or kinks.
Check the protective screens in the fork blades and fork tips for dirt and scratches.
