Press PLAY MODE in stop mode.

ENTER repeatedly until "Normal" appears.
P
Press PLAY MODE again to close the screen.
PLAY MODE
To turn on the PBC function, follow steps 1–2 above,
then press ENTER repeatedly until "PBC" appear.
When enabled, PBC allows interactive VCD playback
using the remote control.
