Playback information/VCD playback control

To disable subtitles:
Press the SUBTITLE button until Off appears.

Playback information/VCD playback control

Viewing the playback info (DVD/VCD)

Press the DISPLAY button during playback.
DVD mode:
(Sample Image) Viewing the playback info - DVD mode
(Sample Image) Viewing the playback info - DVD mode
VCD mode:
(Sample Image) Viewing the playback info - VCD mode
To close the information display, press the DISPLAY button until
"Display Off" appears.
NOTE

Enabling the Playback Control (PBC) function (VCD)

1 In the stop mode, press the DVD MENU button to select the
PBC ON/OFF.

Not all DVDs have encoded subtitles.
❖
The subtitle selection may revert to the default language when
you stop playback and try to play the DVD again.
❖
In some cases, the selected subtitle may not display
immediately.
Depending on the disc, this operation may not be available.
