STARTING AND STOPPING THE LAWN MOWER

STARTING

Before using the lawn mower, make sure the closing system on
the grass bag is properly locked.
NOTE: Recharge the batteries before using the lawn mower for the
first time. The motor is started by a double-action switch which
prevents accidental start-up.
1. Insert the key in the lawn mower [1].
CAUTION:
• The key must be held horizontal when it is inserted and removed.
• Make sure the key is the right way up (side marked with an arrow facing upwards) [2].
2. Press the yellow safety button [3] and press the starter lever [4].
CAUTION:
• Do not start the motor with the drive lever [5] engaged.
The lawn mower must be started in an area where there are no obstacles or long grass. If
starting is difficult, however, (because of grass), raise the cutting height and check the battery
charge.

STOPPING

Release the starter lever [2].
Remove the key if the lawn mower is to be left unattended.

MISE EN MARCHE

S'assurer, avant utilisation, que le dispositif de fermeture
du sac est bien bloqué
NOTE: Recharger les batteries avant la première utilisation de la
tondeuse. La mise en marche du moteur est commandée par un interrupteur à double action
afin d'éviter un démarrage accidentel.
1. Insérer la clé sur la tondeuse [1].
PRÉCAUTION :
• Insérer et retirer la clé horizontalement.
• Respecter le sens de montage de la clé (côté flèche tournée vers le haut) [2].
2. Appuyer sur le bouton jaune de sécurité [3] et appuyer sur le levier [4] de démarrage.
PRÉCAUTION :
• Ne pas démarrer le moteur avec le levier d'avancement [5] engagé.
La tondeuse doit être démarrée sur un endroit libre de tout obstacle et d'herbe haute. Si
toutefois le démarrage s'avérait difficile (présence d'herbe), remonter la hauteur de coupe et
vérifier l'état de charge des batteries.
ARRÊT
Relâcher le levier de démarrage [2].
Retirer la clé si la machine doit être laissée sans surveillance.
