tery (24) along the guide rail into the
device. You will hear it click into place.
Checking the
charge status of the
rechargeable battery
The battery charge status indicator (24a)
signalises the state of charge of the battery
(24).
Press the button (24b) on the battery. The
state of charge of the battery is displayed
by illuminating the 3-colour LED lights of
the state of charge display.
3 LEDs light up (red, orange and green):
Battery is fully charged.
2 LEDs light up (red and orange):
Battery has a residual charge.
1 LED lights up (red):
Battery has to be charged
Only charge the battery (24) when
the red LED on the charge status
indicator (24a) is on.

Recharging the battery

Allow a hot battery to cool before
charging.
Only charge the battery (24) when
the red LED on the charge status
indicator is on.
The charging time is around 1 hour.
1. Remove the battery (24) from the ap-
pliance, as necessary (see „Removing/
inserting the battery").

2. Insert the battery (24) in the charging
compartment of the battery charger
(26).
3. Plug the battery charger (26) into a
mains outlet.
4. When the battery is fully recharged
unplug the battery charger (26) from
the mains.
5. Remove the battery (24) from the char-
ger (26).

Switching on and off

Cordless air pump
1. To switch the device on, move
the On/off switch (20) to positi-
on "1". The LED work light (19)
lights up.
2. To switch the device off, move
the On/off switch (20) to positi-
on "0".
Cordless compressor
1. o switch the device on, press the
On/off button (6) on the display
(4). The display (4) lights up.
2. To switch the device off, press
and hold the On/off button (6)
for 3 seconds. The display (4)
goes out.
The devices are not suitable for
long-term use. Operation for over
20 minutes can cause overheating
and damage to the devices. If the
device is overloaded, switch it off
immediately and only put it back
into operation when it has cooled
down.
