WARNING! – Always wear pro-
tective gloves during maintenan-
ce operations. Do not carry out
maintenance with the engine hot.
AIR CLEANER – Every 8-10 operating
hours, open the cover (A, Fig. 26) and
remove the filter (B). The filter (B) is to
be cleaned by shaking it vigorously and
using a soft brush.
FUEL FILTER – Periodically check the
condition of the fuel filter (C). If excessi-
vely dirty, the filter should be renewed
(Fig. 27).
ENGINE – Periodically clean the cylinder
fins using a brush or compressed air
(Fig. 28). If dirt is allowed to build up on
the cylinder it could cause overheating
and impair engine performance.
SPARK PLUG – Periodically clean the
spark plug and check the electrode gap
(Fig. 29). Use a Champion RCJ-6Y spark
plug or equivalent.
SAFETY SWITCH –With the engine run-
ning, check that the safety switch (D) im-
mediately stops the engine when the sa-
fety guard (E, Fig.30) is opened. If not,
contact your authorised service centre
immediately.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING! – Any maintenance
operations not specifically dealt
with in this manual must be car-
ried out by an authorised service
centre. To ensure that your blower
continues to function correctly, use
only ORIGINAL REPLACEMENT
PARTS.
MANTENIMIENTO
¡ATENCIÓN! - Durante las opera-
ciones de mantenimiento, utilice
siempre guantes de protección.
No efectúe trabajos de manteni-
miento con el motor caliente.
FILTRO DE AIRE - Cada 8-10 horas de
trabajo, abra la tapa (A, Fig. 26) y saque
el filtro (B). Para limpiar el filtro, sacúdalo
bien y pásele un cepillo suave.
FILTRO DE COMBUSTIBLE - Controle
periódicamente las condiciones del filtro
de combustible (C). Cuando esté dema-
siado sucio, cámbielo (Fig. 27).
MOTOR - Limpie regularmente las aletas
del cilindro con un cepillo o con aire
comprimido (Fig. 28). La acumulación de
suciedad en el cilindro puede provocar
recalentamientos perjudiciales para el
funcionamiento del motor.
BUJÍA - A intervalos oportunos, limpie la
bujía y controle la distancia de los elec-
trodos (Fig. 29). Utilice una bujía Cham-
pion RCJ-6Y o de otra marca con grado
térmico equivalente.
INTERRUPTOR DE SEGURIDAD - Con
el motor en marcha, abra la rejilla de
protección (E, Fig. 30) y compruebe que
el interruptor de seguridad (D) detenga

inmediatamente el motor. En caso con-
trario, acuda sin demora a un taller au-
torizado.

cadas en este manual deben ser
realizadas por un taller autoriza-
