♦ Torque wrench - V.A.G 1783-
Removing
– Removing and installing handle button with camera ⇒ General
body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr. 55 ; Rear lid; Removing and
installing handle .
– Release locking lugs -arrows-.
– Carefully lever off housing -1-.
– Pull reversing camera -1- out of lower part of handle button
-2-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
– Secure wiring of reversing camera with wiring retainer to pre‐
vent rattling.
– After installation, clean reversing camera lens with a lint-free
cloth.
– Recalibrate reversing camera

6.3.2 Removing and installing reversing cam‐
era - R189- , Saloon
The reversing camera - R189- is integrated in the swivel badge
of the rear lid. The reversing camera - R189- cannot be separated
from the swivel badge. In the event of damage, the entire swivel
badge must be renewed together with the reversing camera.
