– Grasp telephone bracket by hand, as shown in illustration, and
carefully tilt it in -direction of arrow-.
– Insert a suitable screwdriver into the resulting slot -A-.
– To protect surface of dash panel, place a piece of fabric or felt
under blade of screwdriver. Then lever off cradle in
-direction of arrow- from dash panel.
– Remove glove compartment ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 68 ; Interior equipment; Compartments, covers and
trim; Removing and installing storage compartment on front
passenger side .
– Pull off connectors -arrows- of wiring to telephone bracket.
They can be seen on the left of the heating and blower box
when the glove compartment is removed.
– Pull telephone bracket with wiring connections out of dash
panel.
