START-UP OF THE DEVICE/INTRODUCTION
• Remove the protective film from the display if it is still present.
• Press the STANDBY / FUNCTION" button to turn on the device.
• Press the "STANDBY / FUNCTION" button for approx. 3 seconds to switch into the standby
mode.
POWER SUPPLY
You can power your appliance by plugging the AC power cord at the back of the appliance into a
wall AC power outlet. Check that the rated voltage of your appliance matches your local voltage.
BACK-UP BATTERY (NOT SUPPLIED)
Open the battery compartment underneath the product. Insert a button cell battery
(CR2025 type, not included).
The + polarity must be positioned towards outside. Close the battery compartment.
Note: The back-up battery preserves the clock time in case of a temporary power blackout.
CAUTION!
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent
type.
SETTING THE CLOCK & DATE
The system must be in standby mode in order to set the clock.
1) Press and hold the "TIME SET / COOK TIMER" button for approx.2 seconds.
2) Use the "SKIP +" & "SKIP -" buttons to set the time format "12 / 24hr".
3) Press the "TIME SET / COOK TIMER" button to confirm time format.
4) Use the ""SKIP +" & "SKIP -" buttons to set the hours accordingly. The hour digits start
flashing.
5) Press the "TIME SET / COOK TIMER" button to confirm the hour.
6) Repeat step 4 and 5 to set the minute.
NOTE:
• Because clock setting is at standby mode, the display is dim.
• You may press the „SNOOZE / DIMMER" button to adjust display lightness.
SETTING OF THE ALARM TIME
The system must be in standby mode in order to set the alarm.
1) Press and hold the „PRE - / ALARM 1" button for 2 seconds to entry alarm set mode.
2) Press the "SKIP +" or "SKIP -" button to select below 1, 2 or 3 for wake-up function.
1 - RADIO, 2 - BELL, 3 - USB
Press the „PRE - / ALARM 1" button to confirm.
3) The hours of the currently set alarm time will start to flash. Perform the settings with the
"SKIP +" & "SKIP -" buttons.
4) Press the "PRE. - / ALARM 1" button to confirm. The minutes will start to flash.
5) Perform the settings with "SKIP +" & "SKIP -" buttons. Press the "PRE. - / ALARM 1" button
to confirm.
6) To set the second alarm time, repeat each of the above steps with
the "PRE. + / ALARM 2" button.
7) In order to deactivate the alarm function, press the "PRE. - / ALARM 1"
or "PRE. + / ALARM 2" button.
