    Original User Manual Tree Care Saw FX-KS126_rev03 Safety functions of the components (see S4) Point 3: on/off switch stops the engine immediately when it is switched off. The stop switch must be used to (re)start the engine Point 7: Saw chain with low kickback helps you to reduce kickback forces with specially developed safety device and to absorb them better Point 10: chain brake/hand guard protects the operator's left hand if it should slip off the front handle while the saw is running.

Tree care chainsaws are special chainsaws with an overhead handle, especially for tree care and tree work in the crown of standing trees.

    Original Operating Manual Tree Care Saw FX-KS126_rev03 In some cases, contact between the tip of the chain bar and a solid object can cause the chain bar to strike back at lightning speed, throwing it backwards and upwards towards the operator. Pinching the saw-chain at the upper part of the chain bar can cause the chain bar to bounce back and towards the operator with a quick movement.

For this reason, check the chain tension frequently and adjust it if necessary, as a loose chain can easily jump off or cause rapid wear of the chain and chain stay. Fuel and saw-chain oil DANGER! Danger of injury! The throttle stick must be pressed lightly once after starting, so that the engine reaches the correct idle speed and the saw-chain does not start up in idle speed.

Operation of the chainsaw The saw-chain starts to rotate as soon as the engine starts up, so make sure there is sufficient safety clearance! CHECKING THE OIL SUPPLY After starting the engine, run the chain at medium speed and check that the chain is releasing oil, as shown in the figure.
