System Setup

Through the System Setup menu, you can change the following:
Option
You can set the prefix dial number up to 5
PREFIX digits. This dial number is to dial first before
DIAL NO. any autodial number is started. It is useful
to access PABX exchange.
You can keep your received faxes from being
accessed by unauthorised people.
Secure
Receive
For further details about setting this mode,
see page 6.2.
You can set the desired ringer volume. For
RINGER
details, see "Adjusting the Ringer Volume"
VOLUME
on page 1.11.
With this option set to ON, an alarm tone
ALARM
sounds when an error occurs or fax
SOUND
communication ends.
KEY With this option set to ON, a key tone
SOUND sounds each time any key is pressed.
You can set the speaker to on, off or to
SPEAKER
Com. With it set to Com, the speaker is on
CONTROL
until the remote machine answers.
You can select the display language from
SELECT
English, German, French, Italian, Spanish,
LANGUAGE
Portuguese, and Dutch.
