Lower leg length (Fig 5.29)
1. Loosen the two screws per footplate (D) and adjust
to the desired height. (Use 5mm hex key)
2. When finished adjusting, tighten screws (D).
(Use 5mm hex key). See page 38 for specified torque
values.
Calf Pad Height Adjustment (Fig 5.29)
1. Loosen two screws per calf pad (A) and adjust
calf pads (C) to desired height.(Use 5mm hex key)
2. When finished adjusting, tighten screws (A).
(Use 5mm hex key). See page 38 for specified
torque values.
Ankle angle (Fig 5.30)
1. Flip up the footplate.
2. Turn (A) in order to adjust the ankle angle as desired
3. Fold down the footplate.
4. Repeat on opposite side.
DANGER!
• After adjustment and with the seat in its normal drive position,
ensure there is a gap of at least 2" (51 mm) between the floor
and the footplate at all times.
• Perform this test with the user sitting in the chair loading the
leg rest.
Using the chair with the leg rest set too low might result
in personal injury or damage to the wheelchair and its
surroundings.
Width Adjustment (Fig 5.31)
1. Remove item A using a 6mm Allen wrench.
2. Move item B to the desired side of the footplate
mount (item C).
3. Reinstall item A through items B, D, and E.
4. Torque item A to 120-132 IN-LBS (13.5-14.9 N-m).
After the bolt torqued, the footplate should still
rotate up and down but with 0.5-5 lbs of resistance.
