Operation
The fan heater is approved for use on ships and offshore (safe areas).
It has reinforced electrical insulation and fixed heater units. It is designed for fixed installation but can also be used as a
portable heater. When installing in a fixed position, a circuit breaker must be fitted with a minimum 3-mm breaker gap.
When used as a portable, a safety connector must be fitted on the cable with the requisite encapsulation class.
The fan heater must be readily accessible for cleaning and inspection.
The fan heater complies with electrical safety standard EMC and Veritas-approved.
The fan heater is CE labelled. Encapsulation class: IP44.
Accessories
Controller RTC with Thermostat 0-35° and Switch for remote control e.g. for high wall mounting.

Operating
Switch set to desired output or to fan mode. Room temperature set on thermostat that controls the set heat output,
fan runs continuously.

Service / Maintenance
Clean the fan heater regularly, as dust and dirt can cause overheating and risk of fire. The fan heater has two inbuilt
temperature regulators, one automatic and one with manual reset. These are designed to cut the power to the heater in
the event of overheating. If the temperature regulator is tripped, the fan heater is disconnected from the power supply.
Let the heater cool down and then correct the fault. All maintenance should be performed by a qualified person.
