Signals Display - Cardinal 225NEST Operation Manual

With the NEST powered on, and the ANALOG TESTER selected, the display will show the
signals display screen. If the display units are millivolts, the NEST will display the following:

The columns labeled SG indicate the signal source for the millivolt readings shown in the
columns labeled mV or the pound readings shown in the columns labeled lb. Signals 1
through 12 correspond to the load cell signals SIG1 through SIG12. T is the signal from the
junction box summing circuitry. EX is the 225NEST's excitation voltage.
The right side of the display gives status information about the 225NEST. PWR indicates the
voltage being provided to the 225NEST.
If the message ISO ERR is displayed, it indicates a problem with the voltage regulator for the
circuitry, which provides a millivolt signal for the digital weight indicator. Check the excitation
voltage from the home run cable.
If the message BOOST is displayed, it indicates the battery charger is operating in boost
mode.
At the bottom of the display, the soft key label DAC indicates which soft key should be pressed
to set the digital-to-analog converter to adjust the output to the home run cable to the digital
weight indicator. The number displayed above the label indicates the current setting, from 0 to
3.000 mV/V.
The soft key label MODE indicates which soft key should be pressed to change between the
three display modes.
The soft key label CELLS, indicates which soft key should be pressed to change the number
of cells to be displayed and the cell parameters.
