6. Connect a Cat5e (or better) Ethernet cable to the network port. Make sure the cable supplies Power over Ethernet from
a network switch or PoE injector.
7. Check that the mute button's light ring turns on after you plug in the Ethernet cable.
8. To link the mute button to other devices and control other settings, open it in Shure Designer software.

Power Over Ethernet (PoE)
