Test 5: Wiring diagram, (WIREMAP), display when there is an open circuit at
the near-end of the cable:
The display will show a wiring diagram, (WIREMAP), as shown below if there is an
open circuit at the near-end plug.
On the 'M:' line, pin '3' displays 'x', indicating an open circuit towards the near-end
plug on pin '3'. The open circuit should be located within 10% of the cable length
measured from the near-end plug.
Test 6: Wiring diagram, (WIREMAP), display when there is an open circuit in the
middle of the cable:
The display will show a wiring diagram, (WIREMAP), as shown below if there is an
open circuit in the middle of the cable:
On the 'I' line, pin '3' displays 'x', indicating an open circuit in the middle of the
cable on pin '3'. The open circuit should be located within 10% - 90% of the cable
length measured from the near-end plug.

LENGTH) of the tester can be used as follows:
