Test 2: Normal pair and length (PAIR & LENGTH) display
The LAN Network Cable Tester, in 'Pair and Length' mode, will display information
typical to that shown below when the cable is under normal conditions.
It shows the 'Pair' line number followed by the cable length.
Press the p or q key to restart the test or press the 'PAIR&L' key to return to main
menu.
Test 3: Abnormal pair and length (PAIR & LENGTH) display
If Paired and Unpaired lines are detected in the pair and length (PAIR & LENGTH)
measurement, the LAN Network Cable Tester will display the paired lines first. See
the example display below:
In the example above, the last line, (78q), indicates there is no pair found in lines
7 and 8. It will display the length of the unpaired line numbers, (as shown below), if
you press the q key.
Press the 'PAIR&L' key to return to the main menu.
