6. For the DVV-40Z through DVV-540RS: Should the maximum input
torque be exceeded, the overload protection (slipper) trips. A clearly
audible noise resonates. Then the overload protection engages again in
no time and you can continue to work.
7. For model DVV-13Z: Should the maximum input torque be exceeded,
the sun gear shears off at the predetermined breaking point and can be
replaced (see Chapter 8.1).

4.5 Loosening Bolts and Lug Nuts

For loosening bolts and lug nuts use a suitable ratchet.
To manually loosen bolts and lug nuts: 
1. For models with return
stop: Put the return stop
(G) in the "L"
(L=counterclockwise)
position.
2. Take the maximum
permissible input torque into
account when unscrewing
the torque multiplier.
3. Apply torque in the counter-
clockwise direction until the
bolt or lug nut is loose.
