Verändern der Steuerrichtungen
Ihre Fernsteuerung ist ab Werk genau auf Ihren Doppelrotor
Elektrohelikopter abgestimmt.
Sollten Sie aber beim Eintrimmen feststellen, dass sich ihr
Modellhelikopter bei einzelnen Steuerfunktionen genau ent-
gegen dem im Bild 18-21 dargestellten Schema verhält, so
können Sie am Sender für jede einzelne Steuerfunktion die
Reaktionsrichtung des Modells umschalten.
Zum Umschalten einer Steuerfunktion stecken Sie zunächst
den Flugakku im Helikopter ab, schalten dann den Sender
aus und schieben den erforderlichen DIP-Schalter in die ande-
re Schaltstellung. Nun können Sie den Sender wieder in
Betrieb nehmen, den Flugakku anschließen und die korrekte
Funktionsrichtung am Helikopter prüfen.
Position der Steuerhebel und der Trimmschieber
Eine Schutzschaltung am 4 in 1 Controller verhindert das
Anlaufen der Rotoren, wenn der Gas/Pitch-Hebel nicht in
Leerlauf/Motor-Aus Stellung steht.
Bringen Sie den Gas/Pitch-Hebel in Leerlaufstellung, und die
Roll, Nick, und Heck-Hebel in Neutralstellung.
Die vier Trimmschieber müssen in der Mittelposition stehen.
Eintrimmen des Helikopters

Entfernen Sie sich ca. 2 m von dem Modell, das Heck
zeigt in Ihre Richtung.

Bewegen Sie den Gas/Pitch-Hebel (den rechten
Fernsteuerhebel) langsam nach vorne, bis das Kufen-
landegestell nur noch leicht den Boden berührt.
bevor der Helikopter zu schweben beginnt, können Sie be-
reits erkennen, in welche Richtung sich Ihr Modell bewegen
möchte.

Nehmen Sie die Drehzahl wieder zurück und korrigieren Sie
den jeweiligen Trimmschieber.

Überprüfen Sie nach jeder Korrektur, ob die Korrektur aus-
gereicht hat und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang so oft, bis das
Modell stabil in Position bleibt.

Will sich der Helikopter mit der Rumpfspitze nach rechts dre-
hen, schieben Sie den Trimmschieber für die Heck-Funktion
schrittweise nach links.

Dreht sich die Rumpfspitze nach links, ist eine entspre-
chende Trimmkorrektur nach rechts durchzuführen.

Wenn der Heli nach links bzw. nach rechts driftet bzw. kippt,
korrigieren Sie die Trimmung der Roll-Funktion (rechter
Fernsteuerhebel) nach rechts bzw. links.

Wenn sich der Heli nach hinten bzw. nach vorne neigt, korri-
gieren Sie die Trimmung der Nick-Funktion (rechter Fern-
steuerhebel) vorwärts bzw. rückwärts.

Bewegen Sie den Helikopter jetzt probeweise langsam und
gezielt seitwärts, vorwärts und rückwärts.
Den Trimmschieber für die Pitch-Funktion kön-
nen Sie später so einstellen, dass der Pitch-
Steuerknüppel in der Mittelstellung steht, wenn
sich der Helikopter im Schwebeflug befindet.
Schwebeflug

Wenn Sie den Helikopter am Boden beherrschen, geben Sie
etwas mehr Gas/Pitch und lassen Sie ihn etwa einen Meter
über dem Boden schweben.

Markieren Sie einen Punkt auf dem Boden, von dem aus Sie
das Modell starten. Versuchen Sie, den Helikopter über die-
sem Punkt zu halten

Position of the control levers and steering trims
A protective circuit in the 4-in-1 controller prevents the rotors
from starting up when the gas/pitch lever is not in the idle-run-
ning/motor-off position. Bring the throttle lever in the idle posi-
tion and the aileron, elevator and rudder levers in the neutral
position.
The four steering trims must be in the central position.
Modifying the steering directions
Your remote control is tuned ex works exactly to your double
rotor electric powered helicopter.
However, if during trimming, you notice that your model heli-
copter, with individual steering functions, responds contrary to
the pattern illustrated in figure 18-21, then you can switch over
at the transmitter the direction of the response of the model for
each individual steering function.
To switch over a steering function, first disconnect the flight bat-
tery in the helicopter, then switch off the transmitter and push the
corresponding DIP switch in the other switch position. Now you
can switch on the transmitter again, connect the flight battery
and check the correct function direction at the helicopter.
Trimming the helicopter

Keep a distance of approx. 2 m between you and the model,
the rudder should point in your direction.

Push the rudder lever (the right remote-controlled lever)
slowly forward till the skid landing gear touches the ground
slightly. So you will know just before lifting whether the model
will drift in a particular direction.

Reduce the speed once again and rectify the steering trim.

After every correction, check whether the correction was suf-
ficient and repeat this till the model remains stable in one
position.

If the helicopter wants to turn to the right with the tip of the
fuselage, push the steering trim for the rudder function gra-
dually to the left.
-
If the tip of the fuselage turns to the left, make a correspon-
ding right trim adjustment.

If the helicopter drifts to the left or right, adjust the trimming
of the aileron function (right remote-controlled lever) to the
right or left.

If the helicopter tilts backward or forward, adjust the trim-
ming of the elevator function (right remote-controlled le-
ver) forward or backward,

Now move the helicopter slowly to the side, forward and
backward (on a trial basis).
Later you can adjust the steering trim for the
Pitch function so that the Pitch control stick
remains in the center position when the heli-
copter hovers.
Hovering
-
While controlling the helicopter on the ground, give more
throttle and let the helicopter hover approx. one meter above
the ground.

Mark a point on the ground, from where you will start the
model. Try to keep the helicopter on this point.
