2.0 Connection and control board

Terminal block low voltage

Functions:

ò Jumper 1
= Switch 230/400V (see wiring diagram SS-1069)
ù Jumper 2
= Terminating resistor
ä Jumper 3
= External power supply for easyControls bus
ë DIP-switch 2
= 1 - WW
ë DIP-switch 1
= 0 - Pre-heater
ö RJ 10 (digital)
= Connector sockets for control cable (4 x 0,5² with connector

Description of the jumpers and DIP switch:

Jumper 1:
When using an electric pre-heater or –auxiliary with 230 V, the connecti-

must not be active (jumper disconnected). When controlling an auxiliary
heater battery with 400 V, the connection will be activated (jumper con-
nected). The power supply (0-10 V) is available at terminals 16+17 for the
power control of the auxiliary heater battery.
Jumper 2:
If the KWL-EM is the last element connected in the easyControls bus,
the connection must be activated. (connect jumper to both contacts).
Power supply for the easyControls bus via bus cable (default) or external

(via terminals 13+14). In case of an external power supply, the connection must be re-
configured (connect jumper to „Mid+Ext" contacts)
