5.1 Preparing for Installation

If the Smart Dongle is configured, you are advised to install the Smart Dongle before
connecting the signal cable.

Component Description
PV module  A PV string is composed of the
PV modules connected in series.
The PV modules can work with
an optimizer.
 The SUN2000 supports the
input from two PV strings.
Recommended: a PV circuit breaker
DC switch
with a rated voltage greater than or
equal to 1,100 V DC and a rated
current of 15 A.
Smart Dongle Supported models include:
 WLAN Smart Dongle:
SDongleA-01.
 4G Smart Dongle:
SDongleA-03.
SUN2000 Select a proper model based on
requirements.
