Working Platform 9.1.5 Suspending the steel rope on the beam It has proven advisable to raise the rope from the roof with an auxiliary rope. The steel rope hooks are hung on the attachment support (2 bore holes with D = 40 mm) of the roof extension. Then assemble the limit switch starting plate between the drive and safety ropes.

Working Platform Inspecting the drive and safety ropes The drive and safety ropes, as well as those points where the rope is secured at its ends, are subject to a daily visual inspection. They must be checked for damage, twisting, correct position in the winch and free rope movement on the safety device as well (rope stop).
