    Working Platform Inspecting the drive and safety ropes The drive and safety ropes, as well as those points where the rope is secured at its ends, are subject to a daily visual inspection. They must be checked for damage, twisting, correct position in the winch and free rope movement on the safety device as well (rope stop).
