2.3.2. Locks and rigid links
- After having affixed the roller shutter to the roller tube,
check that when the roller shutter is in the lower end limit
position, the rigid link/bolt is correctly positioned and that
the first slat is vertically between the runners (as per F).
If necessary, adjust the number of slats used to improve
the position of the bolt/rigid link when the roller shutter is
in the lower end limit position.
- Always refer to the manufacturer's size and weight charts
and fitting recommendations for the rigid links or locks to
select those suited to the roller shutter used.
Use at least 2 bolts or 2 rigid links to attach the roller
shutter to the roller tube.

KIT CONTENTS

The Oximo 50 S auto io motor comprises two inseparable
components:
- the Tubular S Module (D),
- the Oximo io Module (E).

INSTALLATION

It is essential to follow the order of assembly given in the guide !
4.1.

Fitting the Oximo io Module

The adhesive is supplied for a single use ! Always use
the adhesive provided by Somfy. The use of any other
adhesive is forbidden.
If the roller shutter is not fitted with a flange, it is
necessary to use some means of attachment, such as
a Rilsan collar, along with some adhesive. The
additional means of attachment chosen must hold the
Oximo io Module inside the end piece regardless of the
conditions of use of the roller shutter.
1) Clean the inner face of the head rail end piece (F).
2) Remove the protective film from the adhesive attached to
the Oximo io Module (E).
3) Affix the Oximo io Module (E) to the head rail end piece
(F).
Pass the power supply cable through a cable grommet
fixed in the headrail to ensure the cable is not under
strain.
4.2.

Preparing the Tubular S Module

1) Fit the crown (G) and the drive wheel (H) to the Tubular S
Module (D).
2) Measure the length (L1) between the interior edge of the
head of the Tubular S Module and the rim of the drive
wheel.
