    Following your installation plan, use a tape measure and marking pen to measure and mark space on each equipment rack for each device component. For horizontal spacing, follow Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) requirements. Copyright © 2019, Juniper Networks, Inc.

    Rear transition modules (RTMs) are located in the rear of the device. Interface modules are not hot-swappable. In CTP2000 series platforms, slot numbering starts at the top of the chassis with slot 0. Protect Modules and Slots The CTP2056 has an ESD (electrostatic discharge) grounding jack located in the rear lower-left corner of the chassis near the power switch.

    WARNING: Never attempt to repair parts of modules yourself. Only trained customer service personnel are authorized to service parts.     CompactFlash card is installed on the processor rear transition module (RTM). Some CTP devices may ship with a CompactFlash card already installed. To remove or install the CompactFlash card for the CTP2000 series devices with the new PP833 processor (see Figure 1 on page Power off the unit.

    DB-9 adapter from the bag labelled “p/n 720-014126”. Then, you can connect the PC’s DB-9 male connector with the DB-9 adapter “p/n 720-014126”. Refer to the CTP2000 Series Console Cable Pinouts section in CTP2000 Series Hardware Guide for information about the pinouts of PP310/PP332 and PP833 processor console cables, USB-to-DB9 cable, and DB9-to-RJ45 adapters.
