File Manager Application

File Manager allows the user to explore and manage the files and folders held on both the internal flash
memory and the Memory Stick Duo.
A straightforward graphical interface allows
exploration of the folders. The example shown
on the right shows the sequence of screens as
the contents of '\Audio\Pop' is explored. Two
audio files are located in the selected folder.
The internal memory is shown, but the same
facilities are provided when external media is
selected.
The File Manager Menu Options
The following operations may be carried out on
folders:

Create
•
Delete
•
Rename
•
View properties which includes the total
size of files contained in the folder and its
subfolders
•
Change the Read Only and Hidden
attributes
The following operation may be carried out on
files:
•
Delete
•
Rename
•
Move
•
Copy
•
View properties
•
Open - if they belong to an application
installed on the P900
•
Send as – file may be sent using E-mail,
Bluetooth, etc
•
Send to another device using Bluetooth or
Infrared
•
Change the Read Only and Hidden
attributes
